Renowned singer Amed-O, the mastermind behind the hit song One Love, remains steadfast in his mission to promote unity among Nigerians.

To further this cause, he is set to embark on a tour of Abuja, reinforcing his message under the promotional expertise of Peculiar Ent/Movies and Magicteeth Promotions.

Born Ahmed Okezie Musa to parents of Hausa and Igbo descent, Amed-O has dedicated his musical career to bridging ethnic divides in Nigeria. “As I always tell people, there are no real differences between a Nigerian from the North, West, or East.

We are one people, and our focus should be on building a greater and better nation for everyone. I embody this unity because I come from both the Igbo and Hausa cultures, and my experiences have shown me that we are all the same,” he said.He emphasized the critical role of Nigerian artistes in shaping society, particularly in the face of increasing political tensions.

According to him, the arts should serve as a guiding force, helping the nation navigate its path to progress.Amed-O, whose hit track One Love features in his latest eight-track album, also revealed that he wrote More Friends Than Enemies to advocate for global peace.

He urged fellow Nigerian artistes to uphold their responsibility as role models, stating, “Artistes have a duty to interpret society through their craft. I have consistently called on my colleagues to rise to the occasion, preaching peace and enlightening the public on voting wisely.

Politics should not be a do-or-die affair—it must serve the people, not just the candidates.”He also praised musicians like Eedris Abdulkareem, 2Face Idibia, and African China for their unwavering support of the masses and their commitment to social change.
