Senatorial – Anambra South: Emmanuel Nwachukwu (APGA) polled 90,408 votes to defeat APC’s Azuka Okwuosa (19,847 votes) and ADC’s Donald Amangbo (2,889 votes).
Onitsha North 1 Assembly Seat: Iféoma Azikiwe (APGA) won with 7,774 votes, ahead of ADC’s Justina Azuka (1,909), APC’s Ezennia Ojekwe (1,371), and YPP’s Njideka Ndiwe (655).
Kano: APC and NNPP Share Victories amid Controversy
Kano saw a fierce duel between APC and NNPP:
Ghari/Tsanyawa Constituency: APC’s Garba Gwarmai secured 31,472 votes to defeat NNPP’s Yusuf Maigado (27,931 votes).
Bagwai/Shanono Constituency: NNPP’s Ali Alhassan won convincingly with 16,198 votes, leaving APC trailing with 5,347 votes.
The APC has, however, rejected the outcomes and called for cancellation, citing “widespread violence and thuggery.”
Zamfara: Election Declared Inconclusive
INEC declared the Kaura-Namoda South Assembly election inconclusive, citing over-voting, ballot snatching, and disruptions across several polling units. A fresh date will be announced for the supplementary election.
Oyo: PDP Claims Victory in Ibadan North
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) recorded victory in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
