A grieving Nigerian has shared a heartbreaking account following a deadly attack along Jos-Bauchi Road that claimed the life of his brother on April 1, 2026.

In a message shared on his Facebook page Danladi, the bereaved brother described the pain of the loss as overwhelming, saying the circumstances surrounding his sibling’s death continue to haunt him.

“The pain is too much. The imagination of how helpless he was, struggling for his life, can’t be erased,” he wrote.

The emotional testimony paints a disturbing picture of yet another life cut short amid rising insecurity, particularly along major routes in Plateau State and surrounding areas.

In the post he said that the tragic incident has left his family devastated, as they struggle to come to terms with the violent loss of a loved one.

“These people have touched us so bad… you’ve paid the price. We will make this count. Rest well, brother.”

His words echo a mix of grief, anger, and a call for justice—sentiments shared by many Nigerians who have lost family members to similar attacks across the country.

The Jos-Bauchi Road axis has, in recent times, remained a source of concern for commuters and residents, with repeated calls on security agencies to intensify surveillance, protect lives, and bring perpetrators of such attacks to justice.

As the family mourns, this tragic account serves as a painful reminder of the human cost of insecurity—and the urgent need for decisive action to prevent further loss of innocent lives.
