The Plateau Bloggers and Online Media Association (PLABOMA) has announced plans to unveil a unified website for bloggers and digital publishers in the state as part of activities marking the 2026 World Social Media Day.
The unveiling will take place on Tuesday, June 30, at the Usiju World Event Center, Jos, during the association’s World Social Media Day celebration themed “Digital Voices: Innovation, Creativity and Youth Engagement.”
According to the organisers, the platform will bring together over 30 active members of PLABOMA on a single digital space to strengthen collaboration and promote credible online journalism in Plateau State.
The association said the initiative is aimed at increasing the visibility of members’ reports, encouraging professionalism and creating a stronger digital identity for Plateau’s online media community.
PLABOMA noted that the unified website would also serve as a gateway for readers to access news and information from member platforms in one location while promoting responsible use of digital media.
The association urged bloggers, content creators, students and members of the public to attend the event and witness what it described as a major milestone for digital media development in Plateau State.
