Twin siblings, Amino Benedict and Amino Benedicta, have raised alarm over repeated harassment, threats, and violent attacks allegedly carried out by suspected cult members.

According to Benedicta, her twin brother, Benedict, was first targeted in Italy, where the alleged cult group pressured him to join their ranks and threatened to kill him if he refused.

She explained that the harassment began on 28 September 2024, forcing him to file a police complaint in Italy before relocating to Ireland for safety.

In a statement, Benedicta alleged that the group identified as Matthew Prince, Bolaji Uyi, Ida Ken, Omoregbe Kelvin, Endurance Ariomaw, Sadoh Ehis, and Nnapozoe escalated their threats after Benedict’s escape.

She recounted that on 20 June 2025, upon her return to Ubiaja, Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria, gunshots were fired at about 1 a.m. by unknown men believed to be acting for the cultists.

“When they could not find me, they burnt down our family house and vowed to kill my twin brother if he ever returned home,” she stated.

Benedicta warned that her brother’s life would be in grave danger should he attempt to return to Nigeria, urging security agencies to take immediate action.
