Student leaders across higher institutions in Osun State have declared that Governor Ademola Adeleke has surpassed the 12 years of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration in less than three years of his government.

The leaders, drawn from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and the National Association of Osun Students (NAOS), commended the Governor’s performance at a weekend meeting, describing his achievements as unprecedented across all sectors.

Comrade Ayobami Solomon Abel, Chairman of NANS Joint Campus Council (Osun Axis), said Adeleke’s record was visible to all: “Even blind men and women can see the good work of this administration. Adeleke’s performance has clearly outshone the 12 years of the APC government in Osun,” he affirmed.

Corroborating him, Comrade Adedibu Mustafa Akinsumbo, National President of NAOS, listed achievements in agriculture, education, health, workers’ welfare, infrastructure, sports, rural development, and cooperative empowerment.

He said the governor had earned endorsements from farmers, workers, artisans, and market women for a second term, stressing that Adeleke had set “a new standard of governance in Osun.”

In his response, Governor Adeleke thanked the student leaders, noting that widespread endorsements across the state had further emboldened him to deliver more.

“We hope failed opposition aspirants can see what Osun people are seeing. Osun people and God are my support base, and we will not take this trust for granted,” he declared.

The Governor then announced the approval of two coastal buses for NANS and NAOS, a technical review of all internal campus roads, and urgent action on bursary awards. He also promised to strengthen the Students’ Affairs Office in his administration.

“To all students and leaders on Osun campuses, we will not take your support for granted. We will do more until our rating rises beyond the ‘A’ grade you have given us today,” Adeleke added.
