Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe Raises Alarm Over Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara’s Whereabouts
Elder statesman Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe has expressed concern over the whereabouts of Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara following the state of emergency declared by President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday.
In an interview with Channels TV on Thursday, Sara-Igbe stated that the governor’s location remains unknown after his suspension, which he described as “illegal.”

Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe is a well-known figure in Rivers State, actively engaged in regional leadership and advocacy. He currently serves as the National Publicity Secretary of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) and the National Coordinator of the South-South Leadership Forum. Previously, he was the Special Adviser on Security Matters to former Rivers State Governor Dr. Peter Odili from 1999 to 2007.
Sara-Igbe has consistently spoken out on issues affecting the Niger Delta, advocating for equitable governance and resource control. He has also been critical of certain political leaders, raising concerns about governance and leadership in Rivers State.
