How My Father, Governor Eno Used My Mother for Ritual Sacrifice – Daughter Alleges (VIDEO)

In a shocking and emotionally charged revelation that has shaken Akwa Ibom State and sent ripples across Nigeria’s political landscape, Jane Edidiong Ufot, daughter of Governor Umo Eno, has come forward with grave allegations against her father. In a viral video making rounds on social media, Jane claims that her late mother, Patience Oluwakemi Umo Eno, was used for ritual purposes by her own husband, the sitting governor of the state.

The disturbing revelation surfaced through a video released by Jane herself, in which she tearfully accused her father of orchestrating her mother’s death for spiritual advancement. According to her, the former First Lady, who passed away in September 2024 after a brief illness, did not die a natural death but was sacrificed.

“I’m not a sacrifice. Mummy was!” Jane cried out in the video.
“If I and my daughter die, it’s because God is exposing the truth. Our blood will not go scot-free.”

Jane, who currently serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Health, Safety, and Environment, expressed deep fear for her life and that of her young daughter, claiming that they are now targets in a larger spiritual scheme.

In a particularly chilling part of the video, Jane can be seen handing her phone to her daughter during a video call with Governor Eno. The child, with innocence and fear in her voice, asked: “Grandpa, do you want them to kill us? Do you want them to die like my baby brother died?”

Though the child’s statement hinted at deeper family tragedies, the governor did not offer a public reply during the call, and no official comment has been issued by his media team. Attempts to contact the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, have so far been unsuccessful.

Public Outcry and Silence from the Government

The allegations have drawn widespread attention, with many Nigerians demanding an independent investigation into the late First Lady’s death. Civil rights groups and legal experts have also called on the national authorities to look into the matter, emphasizing the seriousness of the claim and the need for transparency.

Despite the uproar, the Akwa Ibom State Government has remained silent, neither confirming nor denying the accusations. Governor Eno, who assumed office in 2023, has so far not addressed the matter publicly.

A Family in Crisis

Jane’s emotional breakdown and desperate plea for protection have exposed what appears to be a deep rift in the Eno family, one that may have implications beyond personal conflict. Whether these allegations are grounded in truth or are the result of a family feud gone horribly public, they demand a serious and impartial investigation.

Until then, the people of Akwa Ibom – and indeed Nigeria – are left in shock, demanding answers.
