
Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State is set to commence a three-week medical leave from August 18, the state Commissioner for Information and Culture, Dr. Bala Salisu-Zango, announced on Thursday.
In a statement, Governor Radda expressed his commitment to return with renewed energy and dedication to serve the people of Katsina. “Taking the necessary steps to prioritise my health is essential so I can continue to serve effectively and make the best decisions for our state,” he said, thanking citizens for their support.
During his absence, Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal-Jobe will assume the responsibilities of governance. Governor Radda expressed confidence in Lawal-Jobe’s ability to lead and ensure that all ongoing initiatives, programmes, and projects will continue without interruption.
