Rapper 2Shotz Questions Warm Reception for Seyi Tinubu in Imo, Raises Concerns Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Detention
Nigerian rapper 2Shotz has stirred debate online after expressing surprise at the warm reception given to Seyi Tinubu during a recent political gathering in Imo State.
The rapper shared his thoughts on Instagram after watching a video from the event, where Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was reportedly present alongside members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Reacting to the scene, 2Shotz said he was both surprised and disappointed by the level of support shown to the political figures at the event. He specifically attacked the Igbos in his tweet.

According to him, the situation was troubling, especially at a time when Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), remains in detention and continues to face court proceedings.
The rapper questioned why some people would openly celebrate figures associated with the current government while the separatist leader is still undergoing trial.
He criticised those backing the present administration, stating that he believes they may be making the wrong political choice.
2Shotz also suggested that the level of support he witnessed could indicate that the APC might still secure victory in the 2027 general elections.
In a further remark, the rapper warned that if the ruling party returns to power and economic challenges persist, people should not turn to him on social media seeking financial assistance.
