Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has urged members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to serve their host communities with dedication, integrity, and respect for local cultures.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 orientation course in Kaduna, the governor represented by the Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, Hajiya Rabi Salisu congratulated corps members on completing their training. He encouraged them to remain security conscious and to take advantage of the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme to become self-reliant.

Sani also appealed to employers to support corps members at their places of primary assignment, ensuring they feel welcome and motivated to serve.

Earlier, the NYSC Coordinator in Kaduna State, Mrs Efeke Dadaza, commended the corps members for their discipline and active participation during the orientation exercise. She said they were now well-prepared to contribute to their communities and urged them to identify local needs that could be addressed through community development projects.

Dadaza further encouraged corps members to refine their SAED skills with the aim of becoming employers of labour in the future. She expressed appreciation to the Kaduna State Government, stakeholders, and camp officials for their support in ensuring the success of the orientation course.
