A branch of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) on Lagos Island was on Tuesday gutted by fire, leaving sections of the building engulfed in flames.
A video obtained by Nigerian NewsDirect showed thick smoke and fire blazing through parts of the facility as bystanders raised alarm.
As of press time, the cause of the inferno had not been established. Emergency response teams were at the scene battling to contain the spread.
Authorities have not confirmed any casualties or level of damage.
