Vector Reveals How His Song Helped Psychiatric Patient Overcome Depression

Nigerian rapper Vector Tha Viper has revealed that his hit single Early Momo featuring Goodgirl LA once helped a psychiatric patient overcome depression.

The King Kong crooner made the revelation while speaking on The Honest Bunch podcast, where he discussed the deeper impact of conscious music.

According to Vector, success in music should not be measured only by chart rankings but also by the lives touched through sound.

“I once released Early Momo and got a message from a psychiatric home saying the song helped someone battling depression. That, to me, is a successful moment in somebody’s life—even if it wasn’t intentional,” Vector said.

He further noted that certain songs often resurface in streams during tough times. For instance, his track Mercy with Seyi Vibez becomes popular when listeners are “overthinking,” a sign that music offers comfort in different life struggles.

Vector emphasized that music’s true purpose is to serve as therapy, offering healing, hope, and relief to those who need it most.
