The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has advised the Amanyanabo of Okochiri Kingdom, King Akete Tom, to refrain from direct involvement in forthcoming political activities in the state, urging him instead to guide his people whenever necessary.
Wike made the call on Saturday during a courtesy visit to King Tom, shortly after his “thank you” visit to Okrika Local Government Area of the state.
He praised the monarch for maintaining unity among his people.
The minister also informed the traditional ruler that a decision had already been taken concerning the 2027 election.
Wike noted that further details would be communicated through his associates at the appropriate time.
“It is not going to be business as usual. Allow us to play our game, and if there is any problem, call us to settle,” the minister said.
