The controversy trailing a viral private jet video involving former Edo State governor and serving senator, Adams Oshiomhole, has taken a new turn as the woman seen in the footage has broken her silence.
The video, which began trending earlier this week, shows Senator Oshiomhole seated inside a luxury private jet with a woman’s leg resting on his lap as he gently strokes it while they converse.
The clip, recorded without any visible attempt by the lawmaker to stop it, immediately triggered widespread outrage, reigniting debates about political excess, elite privilege, and the widening gap between Nigeria’s ruling class and ordinary citizens.
Identity, Speculation and Backlash
Following the circulation of the video, intense speculation erupted online over the identity of the woman, with some initially claiming she was Oshiomhole’s wife or a known associate.
