The young boy who was declared missing in Jos, Plateau State, last week has been found alive, bringing relief to his family and residents who had followed the search for him.
Findings by Headlineswave indicate that the incident is no longer being treated as a simple missing person case but as an alleged kidnapping.
Sources familiar with the investigation said the child was reportedly abducted in front of his family’s residence by suspected kidnappers who allegedly arrived in a tricycle (Keke Napep).
The boy was later released after the suspected kidnappers allegedly received a ransom said to be about ₦10 million, although police authorities are yet to officially confirm the exact amount.
The development has taken a fresh twist as investigators are reportedly examining the possibility of insider involvement.

However, these allegations remain unproven, and no law enforcement agency has announced any arrest or charged anyone in connection with the claims.
