The Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) is taking a proactive step to boost accountability and transparency within its ranks.
The commission’s Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) recently completed a two-week intensive training program at the Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria (ACAN), the training arm of the ICPC.
According to RMAFC Chairman Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, the training is part of a broader commitment to strengthen professional competence and service delivery among staff.
The program, which focused on modern anti-corruption practices and investigative skills, provided participants with the tools to identify, prevent, and address corruption risks within the commission.
Mr. Idris Musa, the ACTU Chairman and Director of Audit, described the training as a “rewarding experience” that has deepened the unit’s understanding of investigative procedures.
He stated that the members are now returning to their duties with a renewed commitment to apply their new knowledge to strengthen internal controls and foster ethical conduct.
The training, officially known as the 2025 Certificate Course in Corruption Investigation (CCCI), was held in Keffi, Nasarawa State, from September 8 to September 19, 2025.
