Peter Obi Visits Plateau Tuesday, September 8, 2026 as Obidient Movement Mobilises to Welcome Him
Members, stakeholders and elders of the Obidient Movement in Plateau State are set to welcome former Anambra State Governor and 2027 presidential hopeful, Peter Obi, upon his arrival at Heipang Airport, Jos, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
In a mobilisation notice circulated to members of the movement, supporters were urged to converge at Heipang Airport by 10:00 a.m. to receive Obi.
According to the notice, Obi’s arrival in the state will be followed by a journey to Mangu Local Government Area, where he is expected to pay a condolence visit.
The visit is expected to bring together members of the Obidient Movement from across Plateau State, including stakeholders and elders of the movement.
The organisers urged members to turn out in solidarity as they receive Obi and accompany him to Mangu for the condolence visit.
